We can all dream, can't we? Actually, if
Congress would get its act together and
impeach, this dream could be a reality.
Just with regard to the invasion of Iraq,
G.W. Bush is a criminal many times over,
and he should be brought to justice.
Cue the "Cops" theme...
From WMDs in Iraq to the 'crisis' facing
Social Security, George W. Bush has
demonstrated that he is quite willing to
bend the truth to fit his political agenda,
and this shirt reminds us to be skeptical
of everything that comes out of his mouth.
From across the Atlantic comes the
inspiration for this simple shirt, which
uses a common bit of British slang to
describe the essence of George W. Bush.
If there's one thing that really seems to
matter to George W. Bush, it's cold hard
cash, and this shirt celebrates his
allegiance to the almighty dollar.
George W. Bush originally justified his
Iraq war by hyping the threat posed by
Saddam Hussein's WMDs. This shirt
puts these three letters in a new context
to suggest that the real threat is Bush
himself.
So what's the "W" for, anyway? Well,
"wack" is more than just a hip-hop term for
shameful, embarassing, and uncool - it's a
perfect description of the agenda of
George W. Bush and his associates.
This design uses an appealing stencil font
to shout a simple but important message:
that Bush's policies and practices are not
only unacceptable, they are criminal, and
therefore deserving of impeachment.
A guaranteed conversation starter!

press release:
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Frustrated with Bush? Ask Santa to Check Out Wavelength Clothing.
“Perfect gifts for people who want to register their discontent.”
(SAN DIEGO, 12/05/05) – Iraq. Katrina. Harriet. Scooter.
President George W. Bush has found himself in quite a few predicaments lately, and as the season’s
holiday shopping gears up, he’s got at least one more burgeoning problem to deal with: Wavelength
Clothing.
Started in early 2005, Wavelength offers a range of t-shirts that combine imagery and wordplay to
lambaste Bush and his key associates. On one of the company’s top-selling shirts, the phrase “World’s
Most Dangerous Fool” – with the letters W, M, and D highlighted – is coupled with an unflattering sketch of
the president, portraying him as both diabolical and dimwitted. Another popular shirt borrows a term from
the hip-hop community, pairing an image of a smirking Bush with the phrase “W is for Wack.”
“We’ve got a simple goal with our t-shirts,” said Shane, a 29-year-old writer and designer who
founded the San Diego–based company in May 2005. “Each one is designed to send a message, and to
do so with humor and style.”
In Shane’s opinion, those last two ingredients separate Wavelength’s shirts from other politically themed
gear in stores and on the Internet. “After Bush was reelected in 2004, I looked everywhere for t-shirts that I
could wear in protest,” Shane explained. “I found very few that struck me as meaningful, funny, and
stylish – so I decided to make some myself.”
Within a few months, as his disillusionment with Bush deepened and his enthusiasm for Wavelength grew,
Shane left a comfortable white collar job to give the t-shirt business his full-time focus. “Positive social
change begins with communication, and I think the communication potential of the t-shirt is tremendous,”
he said. “At Wavelength, our current message is that leaders like Bush are unacceptable, and that our
world deserves better.”
Changing the world is a long-term undertaking, of course, and in the meantime, Shane would be
satisfied to see his shirts find happy homes. “Bush’s policies and pronouncements can be extremely
frustrating, but Wavelength is here to help,” Shane said. “Our shirts are perfect for people who want to
register their discontent.”
